Este año, motivado por la pandemia del Covid19, las Fallas Valencianas, declaradas Patrimonio Inmaterial de la Humanidad en 2.016, han tenido que ser suspendidas.
Afortunadamente, una semanas antes de la suspensión, el Museo de las Ciencias Príncipe Felipe, en la Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias, albergó la "Exposición el Ninot", exposición que nos permitió contemplar unas pinceladas de lo que serían las fallas una vez que se "plantaran" en las calles.
Cada falla envía un "Ninot", el que consideran mejor terminado y más representativo del tema de la falla.
Un jurado técnico elige, en cada una de las secciones en que se han encuadrado las fallas en función de su coste -23 secciones este año- al Ninot que considera mejor terminado.
Independiente de este jurado, todos los asistentes a la exposición tienen derecho a votar al que consideran, sin tener en cuenta la sección en la que está encuadrado, al que consideran mejor y, el más votado, es indultado del fuego el día de San José.
